![]() But when DMR & NXDN upgrades became available, I imported some local DMR & NXDN systems, already programmed for the x36HP & SDS series scanners, into a file I was creating for the 325. Initially programmed with FreeSCAN (using a file originally created for one of my 396XTs). Product Code: 18-521459 Qty: Basics ARCXT PRO works with the following scanners: BCT15X BC346XT/XTC BCD325P2 BCD396XT BCD996XT BCD996P2 Requirements: Windows XP/2000/Vista/7/8/10, minimum 1024x800 video, 512 RAM, free serial or USB port (USB requires Uniden USB-1 cable). That's basically what I did with my 325P2. ![]() The BCD536HP has a SD card with the nationwide database which you can scan by zipcode. The downside of the BCD996P2 is that it needs to be programmed. I use Butel ARC-XT Basic for my BCD996P2. (ProScan would not directly import an ARCXT file, but as long as you 'read' the 996P2 into ProScan, you can add to or massage all you want.) For DMR or NXDN the BCD996P2 would require ARC-XT or ProScan programming software. Take a file from your 996P2, and selectively import whatever you want into a list for the 200, or a different Uniden scanner that's supported by ProScan. ARC-XT has two versions: Basic, 39.95, and Pro, 69.95. If you don't purchase before the trial period ends, the software programs will quit working. Instead of reinventing the wheel, & starting from scratch, you can import the system from one of the SDS200's lists, into a programming file you are creating for the 996P2. ARC-XT and ProScan have a 30 day trial period, so that you can use the software to see if it fits your needs, before you have to purchase it. Say, for your 996P2, you wanted to program a system that you already had in a Favorites list for your SDS200.
